THE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking a Director of Business Development for the US Army who will report to the Vice President of Sales. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to transcend traditional corporate boundaries and leverage organizational agility. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Establish strategic partnerships and alliances for pursuit opportunities - Capture new government and military business opportunities - Conduct strategic customer engagement and relationship building - Participate in industry events to understand customer strategies - Serve as primary customer interface during program execution - Facilitate strong customer interactions through targeted travel REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering - Minimum 10 years wireless communications experience in Business Development/Program Management - 5+ years recent experience with U.S. DoD opportunity capture across multiple services - Proven track record securing $1M-20M+ contracts - Direct wireless communications expertise - CRM portfolio management skills - Technical understanding of product development for military applications - Competitive market research capabilities - Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance - U.S. Citizenship - Background check clearance PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES - Master's degree in Electrical Engineering - MANET systems experience - Strong leadership and communication skills WORKING CONDITIONS - Office, trade show, and outdoor demonstration environments - Physical requirements include equipment lifting and flexible movement - Potential equipment setup and demonstration responsibilities COMPENSATION Pay range: $180,000 - $260,000 USD, varying based on experience and qualifications NOTES U.S. Federal Contractor requiring U.S. Person status.
