Sastrify is looking for a Tech Lead (M/F/D) to be the primary technical counterpart to the Head of Product. This is a high-impact, hands-on role designed for a seasoned engineer who loves building software as much as understanding the product 'why'. You will bridge product discovery and technical execution, ensuring the roadmap is ambitious yet technically sound.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate daily with the Head of Product to translate vision into a robust technical roadmap and be engineering's voice in product discovery.
- Pioneer AI-native workflows, leveraging AI tools to accelerate team velocity and leading the charge in integrating LLMs, agents, and automation into the platform.
- Lead by example, writing high-quality, production-ready code across the full stack (React/Node.js) and tackling the most complex technical challenges yourself.
- Evolve the full-stack architecture pragmatically, ensuring the environment remains performant and cost-effective as we scale.
- Evaluate new feature requests for technical risk and effort, providing high-level estimates and alternative paths to achieve business goals.
- Drive the technical strategy for integrating with diverse, high-volume customer data sources, ensuring robust data ingestion and reliability.
- Advocate for and implement best practices in IaC (Terraform) and CI/CD to keep deployment cycles fast and reliable.
- Drive technical excellence through deep code reviews, pair programming, and setting standards for documentation and testing.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years in software development.
- 3+ years in a senior or staff-level role within a high-growth SaaS environment.
- Expert-level TypeScript, Node.js, and React. Equally comfortable optimizing a React component and debugging a PostgreSQL query.
- Deep AWS Serverless experience (Lambda, EventBridge) and Terraform.
- Product fluency: you think in user value, not just code, and can explain complex technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record taking products from concept to production at scale.
- Fluent English and the ability to influence without formal authority.

- Ideally based in the DACH region with occasional Cologne office presence.
