Lockwood, part of Cushman & Wakefield, is hiring an LIS Outreach Support Manager to oversee all aspects of middleware used for bi-directional orders and results interfaces between Alverno Laboratories and its owner, client, and other systems. This role carries supervisory responsibility for LIS Outreach Support Specialists and is critical to advancing the health and continuity of care in our communities.

What You'll Do

Manage the implementation, maintenance, training, and support of middleware for bi-directional orders/results interfaces.
Implement, maintain, and support interfaces to and from hospital, client, and other software systems.
Create and maintain all policies and procedures for configuration, maintenance, and use of the middleware.
Create and maintain all policies and procedures required for accrediting and regulatory agencies.
Supervise LIS Outreach Support Specialists.
Occasionally travel to remote facilities and clients.
Maintain a healing environment for employees and patients with a spirit of caring and concern.

What We're Looking For

A minimum of four years' experience working in a laboratory LIS or a laboratory setting supporting Information Systems.
Required education: a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Information Services, or a business-related field with two years of relevant healthcare/laboratory information services experience OR an Associate Degree in the same fields with four years of relevant experience.
Very good written, verbal, and listening skills.
Very good technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Very good customer service, team building, and communication skills to work effectively in an integrated lab setting.
A focus on quality and process improvement as a means for improving patient care and organizational stability through information services/systems.
Ability to engage with internal and external customers to identify and determine methods for meeting their business needs.
