BTG Pactual is seeking a Tech Lead for our IT Legal team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing strategic technology solutions for the bank's legal area, focusing on litigation management, operational efficiency, automation, and AI-driven insights. You will operate in a dynamic, high-impact environment where you can build solutions from scratch.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement technology solutions for the bank's legal department.
- Define system architecture with a focus on microservices, event-driven design, cloud infrastructure (AWS), and software architecture best practices.
- Understand legal business needs (regulatory and judicial themes) and maintain close relationships with business stakeholders and other IT teams.
- Participate in the entire application development lifecycle, ensuring high system availability, continuous improvement, and cost optimization.
- Manage and contribute to development dynamics, working with agile projects and teams.
- Participate in hands-on technical development while providing team leadership.
What We're Looking For
- Knowledge of solution architecture in AWS.
- Knowledge of event-oriented systems and messaging systems.
- Knowledge of Python, React, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.
- Ability to translate business needs into functional technical architectures.
- Ability to train and lead technical teams.
- Availability to work in a hybrid model at our Botafogo office in Rio de Janeiro or Faria Lima office in São Paulo.
Nice to Have
- A completed degree in Information Systems, Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
