About the Role

At Hannover Re, we are looking for a Team Manager Global IT Software Solutions Life and Health Reinsurance to join our global IT organization. In this role, you will lead a team responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that support individual Life and Health reinsurance risks on a global scale.

What You'll Do

  • Provide disciplinary leadership and foster the professional development for your team, GIT BG Single Risk Solutions Life & Health.
  • Plan and manage the team’s budget and resources, including all related reporting.
  • Coordinate external international implementation partners.
  • Manage projects related to systems within your area of responsibility.
  • Take responsibility for the global support of business departments using the systems provided by your team.

What We're Looking For

  • Several years of relevant professional experience in a global IT environment.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in software development and managing external implementation partners.
  • Experience in leading agile teams and sound knowledge of common project management methods.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable qualification.
  • Business-fluent English and conversational German for global communication.
  • Strong intercultural communication skills and a genuine enthusiasm for innovation.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of the (re)insurance industry.
