Responsibilities
- Coordinate driver schedules, ensuring pre-operation vehicle inspections are completed and routes begin on time, including managing coverage during absences.
- Develop and manage driver rosters while supporting daily operational planning with the Operations Supervisor.
- Perform relief driving duties across assigned routes, including handling loading and unloading tasks as needed.
- Keep precise records, finalize required paperwork, and use designated systems to support operations.
- Ensure all vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and meet safety and operational requirements.
- Uphold strong customer service standards and adherence to company protocols, including fatigue risk controls.
- Support efforts to meet monthly branch targets for health, safety, environment, and quality performance.
- Organize and schedule preventive maintenance and repairs to reduce operational downtime.
- Assist the Operations Manager in enhancing service quality and resolving day-to-day operational challenges promptly.
