At Deel, we are looking for a Team Lead, Payroll Operations | Benelux to take on a player-coach role. You will manage a team of Payroll Specialists while actively supporting payroll execution for multiple customers and entities. Your work will drive process improvements, maintain critical stakeholder relationships, and uphold our standards for compliance and accuracy.
What You'll Do
- Process payroll for assigned customers and provide expert guidance to team members.
- Lead a team of Payroll Specialists to ensure timely and compliant payroll delivery.
- Implement and maintain payroll policies, procedures, and controls.
- Analyze payroll data to identify areas for improvement and drive process enhancements.
- Deliver training and communication to internal teams to ensure understanding of payroll processes.
- Manage relationships with payroll vendors and tax authorities to ensure timely filings and payments.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience processing payroll for multiple entities.
- Strong working knowledge of local payroll and HR regulations.
- Experience with local payroll systems and vendor management.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working cross-functionally.
