Dana TM4 is looking for a Team Lead to spearhead the Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) commissioning and Lab Engineering Team within our Global Low Voltage EV System and Software Organization. In this pivotal role, you will lead the overall development and commissioning strategy, manage lab resources, and guide a team of engineers.
What You'll Do
- Oversee direct report functions including interviewing, training, supervising, and evaluating performance.
- Lead and be responsible for the V&V overall development and commissioning of the Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) and Lab Engineering Team.
- Ensure the timely deployment of all HIL commissions to internal and external program teams.
- Actively engage with vendors to align with the latest technology as part of continuous HIL improvement.
- Develop a strategy for the long-term global reuse of HIL equipment as a cost-saving initiative.
- Lead the roadmap and justify capital expenditures for HIL systems across global locations.
- Manage all lab test equipment calibration and the acquisition and renewal of hardware and software tooling.
- Oversee HIL lab inventory and manage the selection, purchase, storage, and allocation of laboratory equipment, supplies, and data analysis tools.
- Be responsible for laboratory equipment, supplies, and tools, including inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Lead the overall V&V HIL commissioning team to meet technical, quality, and project budget targets.
- Support a standard product methodology mindset, seeking opportunities to re-use solutions and improve quality and reliability.
- Understand key program milestones and ensure plans correctly provision for all required HIL commissioning and lab management activities.
- Perform various technical duties in support of research activities.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer, Electrical, or Software), Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Working experience in Automotive Tools: VectorCast, Vector Canape, CANalyzer/CANoe, CANdella Studio, Typhoon, dSPACE, Automation Desk, Synect, Polarion, Jira, Azure Git.
- Knowledge of embedded C/C++ software and Model-Based Embedded Software Design.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of SW testing methodologies (black box, grey box, interface testing, validation life cycle).
- Knowledge of ASPICE, ISO 26262, AUTOSAR, and Cyber Security Testing Methods.
- Good analytical skills, curiosity, autonomy, and the ability to work with multidisciplinary and global teams.
