About the Role
This role is central to developing and maintaining regulated money movement systems, ensuring client funds are handled safely, compliantly, and efficiently across jurisdictions.
Responsibilities
- Guide the engineering team in designing, developing, and scaling wallet systems for global users.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate wallets with regional banks via payment service providers using APIs, managing pay-ins and treasury workflows.
- Partner with the Core Accounting team on select projects to link wallet systems with the General Ledger, ensuring accurate balances and audit-ready financial reporting.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Treasury, and PSP Integration teams to meet regional regulatory requirements, including MTL, PI, and safeguarding standards.
- Deliver technical leadership in a fast-moving, global environment where system uptime and data accuracy are critical.
- Lead engineering team operations, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and backlog refinement.
