Honeywell is adding a Tax Specialist to our team, responsible for US federal and state corporate income tax compliance, intercompany financial tracking, and leading automation projects. The role focuses on delivering accurate accounting, control, and compliance activities within a global organization.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and review US Federal & State Corporate Income Tax returns
- Prepare various supporting schedules for federal and state corporate income tax filings
- Conduct deferred tax workbook reviews
- Manage intercompany loans tracking and reporting
- Handle intercompany dividend processing
- Work closely with the RPA team to lead all automation projects
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in finance or equivalent with a strong finance operational background
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in US taxation
- Experience in the preparation and review of Federal, State, and other international returns/forms
- Review experience and good knowledge of Federal, State, and International Corporate Tax returns
- Hands-on experience with SAP and systems knowledge of SAP and HFM
- Extensive knowledge of IRS and US State Tax Laws
- Good experience with MS Office tools and proficiency in Excel
- Process-oriented with excellent problem-solving and strong technical/analytical skills
- Sound accounting knowledge
- A project mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and lead projects
- Good business acumen including company, legal entity, regulatory, and compliance design
- Good communication skills
