Day - 08 Hour (United States of America) This is a Stanford Health Care position. Brief Overview The Talent Acquisition Senior Consultant delivers innovative and diverse approaches to recruitment, onboarding, and new hire integration. This role will utilize comprehensive expertise to create an outstanding recruitment and integration experience for new employees and hiring managers. The Talent Acquisition Senior Consultant will collaborate with subject matter experts to establish streamlined processes and continuously enhance customer experience. The role will also identify process improvement opportunities and support specialized initiatives within HR Centers of Expertise. Locations Stanford Health Care What you will do Core Activities: - Manages and executes comprehensive recruiting processes, including developing recruitment strategies, sourcing, candidate screening and interviewing, compensation negotiations, and onboarding for new and transferred candidates. - Mentors employees and leadership on intricate issues within the "My Joining" employee lifecycle phase. - Handles "My Joining" case management and documents resolution outcomes. - Escalates client service challenges and trends to HR Services leadership as appropriate. - Recognizes process enhancement opportunities based on emerging customer needs and HR potential. - Participates in HR special projects supporting Centers of Expertise, providing insights on the "My Joining" critical moment. - Ensures recruiting process excellence by adhering to internal policies, accurately tracking metrics, and maintaining compliance with employment regulations. - Attends training and engages in continuous improvement initiatives as directed by HR Services leadership. - Proactively shares knowledge to facilitate professional development. Example Specialized Activities: - Collaborates with Hiring Managers to evaluate talent acquisition requirements, posting processes, sourcing strategies, compensation, onboarding, and communicates expectations and outcomes. - Determines and implements sourcing strategies, posts requisitions, attends job fairs. - Delivers diverse, qualified candidate pools for all positions. - Facilitates candidate offer and onboarding discussions. - Establishes employee compensation utilizing new methodology. - Designs and implements new employee orientation programs. - Develops strategic recruiting plans for assigned business groups, considering business strategy, talent approach, diversity initiatives, and workforce planning. - Leverages data analytics and complex recruitment insights to guide strategic talent decisions. - Consults with hiring managers to comprehend staffing needs and provide labor market perspectives. - Coaches hiring managers on effective and legally compliant interviewing techniques. - Consistently follows up with business leaders to ensure candidate and service quality meets expectations. - Remains current on innovative recruiting methodologies. - Partners with business leaders to forecast recruitment needs. - Cultivates and maintains critical stakeholder relationships. Education Qualifications: - High school diploma or GED required - Associate degree in related discipline preferred Experience Qualifications: - Eight (8) years of progressively responsible, directly related experience - Advanced Practice Practitioner recruitment experience highly preferred Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Comprehensive understanding of HR talent acquisition, orientation, and onboarding processes - Capability to mentor employees and managers on complex recruitment matters - Proven ability to execute recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and training transactions - Skill in applying industry and technical knowledge to support new hire operations - Capacity to rapidly acquire functional knowledge - Efficient work approach with meticulous attention to detail - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - Customer-focused approach with ability to manage challenging situations professionally - Workload prioritization and timely problem resolution skills - Research proficiency and knowledge application - System navigation capabilities - Sensitive information confidentiality maintenance - Strong negotiation and influence abilities - Exceptional candidate engagement and employer brand marketing skills - Advanced problem-solving and consulting capabilities - Business acumen development - Behavioral and competency-based interview expertise Licenses and Certifications: - None Stanford Health Care Commitment: Delivering exceptional patient experiences through C-I-CARE standards: - Know Me: Anticipate needs - Show Me the Way: Guide towards better outcomes - Coordinate for Me: Manage care complexity Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and non-discrimination across all policies and practices.
