BJAK is seeking a Talent Acquisition Lead to own end-to-end hiring for China-based and remote roles at our fintech company. You will partner with hiring managers across engineering, AI, and operations to build teams that power the future of financial access across Southeast Asia.
What You'll Do
- Own full-cycle hiring across diverse functions, with a strong focus on tech, product, and high-growth teams.
- Act as a talent quality gatekeeper by screening CVs, portfolios, and assessing signals beyond the resume.
- Proactively source exceptional candidates via platforms, communities, networks, and creative strategies.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand business needs, define role requirements, and co-design hiring processes.
- Conduct meaningful interviews that uncover true potential and values alignment.
- Deliver structured feedback to both candidates and internal teams to enable data-informed decisions.
- Ensure an excellent candidate experience through transparent communication and timely updates.
- Manage and improve the hiring funnel using ATS and recruitment metrics.
- Keep a pulse on talent trends in China and bring insights to shape hiring strategies.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, preferably in tech, startup, or growth environments.
- Proven success hiring across multiple functions and levels.
- Deep familiarity with modern sourcing tools, ATS platforms, and recruitment best practices.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working remotely and independently, aligning across borders and time zones.
- Fluent in Chinese and English (both written and spoken).
Nice to Have
- Experience hiring in AI, product, or software engineering functions.
- Knowledge of China's talent landscape, job boards, and professional communities.
- Exposure to employer branding or recruitment marketing.
- Familiarity with regional hiring across Southeast Asia.
- Experience working in a remote-first, high-growth company.
