Responsibilities
- Develop services with RESTful APIs and their own databases using Go and other programming languages
- Create and maintain functional specifications for services to ensure clarity and understanding among team members
- Connect multiple services through message queue systems and assess third-party and open-source tools
- Design and implement alert systems, develop procedures for handling alerts, or act as a point of escalation for unresolved operational issues
- Analyze and migrate logic from a legacy codebase to a modern services architecture and review code submissions from colleagues
