What You'll Do
Lead the design and evolution of LINE Pay’s core backend infrastructure, tailored for the Thai market. Build robust, high-throughput payment systems using Java and distributed architectures to ensure speed, reliability, and security. Develop features that meet local user and business needs while aligning with financial regulations.
Drive technical excellence by writing clean, maintainable code and implementing comprehensive testing strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges in fintech, from transaction scalability to system resilience. Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years in server-side development with a strong command of Java and the Spring Framework (Java 8 or later)
- Proven experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and relational database systems
- Solid grasp of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, networking, and operating systems
- Experience writing unit and integration tests to ensure system stability
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-moving environments with a self-driven, problem-solving mindset
- Strong teamwork orientation and commitment to collective success
- No restrictions on international travel
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior work in finance or fintech, especially with payment or settlement systems and security practices
- Hands-on experience with high-traffic, large-scale services
- Familiarity with NoSQL technologies such as Redis, MongoDB, HBase, or Elasticsearch
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
