Societe Generale is seeking a Systems Engineer accountable for global database operations. In this role, you will take over operational activities for Oracle Databases, working closely with infrastructure and engineering teams to ensure robust and efficient database services.

What You'll Do

Take over operational activities in the area of Oracle Databases.
Perform database configuration and administration.
Write and manage SQL.
Implement performance improvements.
Handle export and import of databases, tables, and schemes.
Manage authorization assignment.
Implement and document NIST policies.
Provide user support.
Handle incidents and problems.
Provide project support (Next Move / ALD+LP integration).
Document processes and changes.

What We're Looking For

Proven Oracle database trainings or certifications.
Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
10+ years of relevant experience.

Nice to Have

Business know-how about Leasing and SG Group.

Work together with the local infrastructure and engineering team in Germany as well as our Data Center provider Kyndryl.
