Join Scotiabank as a Systems Engineer and contribute to the success of the regional Technology Division. You will ensure individual goals, plans, and specific initiatives are executed in support of the team's business strategies and objectives. All activities will be conducted in accordance with the Bank's current IT regulations, policies, and procedures.
What You'll Do
- Promote a customer-centric culture to deepen client relationships and leverage the Bank's relationships, systems, and knowledge.
- Analyze computational solutions for approved projects and maintenance requirements for existing systems, ensuring the solution meets stated requirements.
- Provide production support for problems or failures associated with computer systems, resolving or clarifying user issues and/or addressing interruptions in the process chains of the Bank's and its subsidiaries' systems.
- Support the implementation of developed solutions, both for processing areas and for the commercial and product areas of the Bank and its subsidiaries.
- Support the testing (QA) area in performing tests for developed computational solutions, contributing and validating that the test plans incorporate necessary scenarios.
