Extreme Networks seeks a Systems Engineer to provide critical pre-sales technical support. You will be an integral member of the Sales Account Executive team, collaborating to design and present network solutions. This role involves regional travel to customer sites for Proof of Concepts, planning, and training on the Extreme Networks architecture.
What You'll Do
- Assist the Pre-Sales team in the design, planning, and implementation of Secure Network Solutions
- Provide consultative support to pre-sales teams, partners, and customers on Extreme Networks Solutions
- Present at trade shows, seminars, and oversee internal demonstration facilities
- Prepare and deliver customer presentations to all levels of management
- Provide educational training on leading-edge technologies and Extreme Networks products to presales teams
What We're Looking For
- 8-10+ years of relevant experience in networking technologies
- Expert knowledge of the competitive network industry and regional market
- Proven ability to influence new customer decisions and displace competition
- Thorough knowledge of security design features and ability to implement and analyze network and systems security
- Hands-on experience using security-related toolsets
- Demonstrated skills in troubleshooting and problem resolution in a network environment
- Keen ability to understand customer requirements and position Extreme Networks Solutions effectively
- Ability to effectively demonstrate Extreme Networks products and Solutions
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex customer interactions and control expectations
- Excellent interpersonal, technical presentation, and communication skills
- Proven team player
- Ability and willingness to travel within the region up to 50%
- B.S. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience

You will support the Sales Account Executive team in a Pre-Sales capacity, working closely with a Regional sales team.
Benefits & Compensation
- On-Target Earnings (OTE) of $160,000 - $200,000 on a 70/30 base-to-commission split.

This is a hybrid position supporting a regional territory.
