Lithia & Driveway is hiring a Systems & Endpoint Engineering Manager to provide thought leadership and technical stewardship for our enterprise technology core. You will own the architecture, design, engineering, and operations of our Microsoft Windows ecosystem, storage systems, hybrid-cloud infrastructure, Office 365 tenant, and enterprise endpoint configuration management.
What You'll Do
- Oversee a team responsible for architecting, engineering, supporting, and implementing Lithia & Driveway’s hybrid and virtualized datacenter, Microsoft 365, and endpoint configuration management operations.
- Drive the technology strategy for Windows operating systems including platform performance and availability, monitoring, SaaS integrations, cloud services interoperability, patch management, and upgrades.
- Monitor data backups across the enterprise to ensure they are completed regularly.
- Identify, develop, communicate, and implement industry norms, new technology standards, and best practices.
- Work collaboratively with the Information Security team to develop standards, architecture, and systems to ensure enterprise information security.
- Continually assess current technology architecture for vulnerabilities, weaknesses, and possible upgrades.
- Continually adopt and enhance automation operations.
- Ensure compute and storage systems are stable, secure, and resilient to provide maximum uptime.
- Achieve system security operational objectives by contributing to strategic plans, implementing standards, completing audits, identifying trends, and implementing change.
- Provide coordination of vendor related troubleshooting efforts for a variety of Systems Platforms.
- Regularly review site, infrastructure, and network security to ensure risks are proactively managed.
- Lead investigations of business impacting Systems outages and recommend solutions; prepare reports on intrusions and provide analysis summary to management.
- Establish and maintain trusted relationships with customers, partners, and other departments to build an information technology strategy that responds to the business vision.
- Participate in, enhance, and support acquisition efforts.
What We're Looking For
- Knowledge of vulnerabilities in various Windows and Apple operating systems in relation to hardening, configuration management, deployment, and administration.
- Strong Azure Active Directory, Azure infrastructure and Microsoft 365 management experience.
- Mobility Products Experience (iPhone, iPad, Android, Tablets, etc.).
- Proven experience supporting large-scale enterprise Systems and endpoint implementations and conducting ongoing maintenance and upgrades.
- Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Security or related field or equivalent experience.
- High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
