Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) is hiring a Systems Design Engineer to lead technical innovation and improve our validation capabilities. In this senior role, you will be part of a team delivering high-quality, industry-leading technologies, focusing on product development, definition, and root cause resolution.
What You'll Do
- Drive technical innovation to improve AMD’s validation capabilities through tool and script development and methodology enhancement.
- Debug issues found during the process, bring-up, validation, and production phases of SOC programs.
- Work with multiple teams and track test execution to ensure all features are validated and optimized on schedule.
- Collaborate closely with supporting technical teams.
- Engage in other software and hardware modeling frameworks.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in systems design, validation, or a closely related engineering field.
- Strong skills in debugging complex hardware and software issues throughout the product lifecycle.
- Demonstrated ability to develop tools, scripts, and methodologies to improve engineering processes.
- Experience working cross-functionally with multiple technical teams to track and deliver on project milestones.
- Ability to engage with and contribute to software and hardware modeling frameworks.
