ICF is hiring a Systems Administrator/DevOps Engineer to support secure, automated deployments and cloud infrastructure management in a high-security, cleared government environment. This role is critical for reducing downtime, accelerating updates, and ensuring infrastructure resilience and compliance.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain secure, automated CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and reliable software deployments.
- Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or other government-authorized platforms), ensuring high availability and compliance with security policies.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to streamline system integration and deployment processes.
- Proactively identify and resolve system performance issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring operational continuity.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Support system hardening, patch management, and vulnerability remediation in accordance with STIGs and RMF guidelines.
- Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and security controls.
- Participate in incident response and recovery efforts, ensuring systems remain secure and operational.
What We're Looking For
- Active Secret clearance or higher
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in system administration and/or DevOps roles in a secure or government environment
Nice to Have
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, etc.) and automation tools
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code
- Familiarity with RMF, STIGs, and federal cybersecurity compliance frameworks
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, CompTIA Security+, or RHCE

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation range: $89,203.00 - $151,646.00
