V2X is hiring a Systems Administrator II to provide critical support for training systems at Camp Humphries, South Korea. In this role, you will maintain the security and integrity of network and computer Information Assurance systems while supporting three core training missions: Steady-state Training Support, Point of Need operations, and Surge Support.
What You'll Do
- Maintain network and computer Information Assurance systems security.
- Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of system, network, and server resources.
- Participate in the collections of utilization, operation and maintenance data.
- Assist in compiling weekly and monthly report deliverables.
- Review and interpret Windows event files.
- Manage Virtual Machines on Linux and Windows Hosts.
- Ensure TADSS connectivity to central computer network.
- Provide TADSS instruction to assist STE operations in accordance with Government NET.
- Provide system administrator maintenance support during deployed and Point of Need operations.
- Facilitate and assist OEM with installation and upgrade of software.
- Support Steady-state Training Support: Assist Soldiers in planning training exercises, initialize and manage the local RVCT training network, provide over-the-shoulder assistance, and facilitate the After-Action Review (AAR) process.
- Support Point of Need training: Oversee equipment preparation and shipment, set up equipment and RVCT modules, deliver over-the-shoulder training support, and provide an After-Action Review (AAR).
- Support Surge Support: Provide additional personnel by shifting resources from other locations to meet training requirements that exceed current capacity.
What We're Looking For
- DoD 8570 IAT II / 8140 Certification.
- Active Secret clearance.
- 2+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 1+ years with a Master's degree, or 4+ years with an Associate degree, or 6+ years with no degree.
Nice to Have
- An in-depth understanding of Cyber concepts.
- Proficiency in system administration, patching, and implementation of security procedures.
- Proficiency in the MS Windows 11 operating system.
- Familiarity with the Linux operating system.
- A thorough understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and VLANs.
- Familiarity with system hardware components.
