Altamira is hiring a System/Business Analyst for a 3-month contract with potential for extension. You will be instrumental in a project focused on building a portal designed to radically simplify the Medicaid application process, aiming to reduce government response times from 45 days to 24 hours.

What You'll Do

Normalize and clean collected data tables to ensure consistency and readiness for system upload.
Oversee and validate data entry from researchers, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with the required table structure.
Coordinate with researchers to validate that their outputs include all necessary details for system ingestion.
Communicate with internal stakeholders to clarify requirements and flag inconsistencies.
Ensure all outputs meet the standards required for downstream categorization and algorithmic processing.

What We're Looking For

2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
Familiarity with structured data and database table concepts.
Experience in data quality control and working with researchers or distributed teams.
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Experience with financial transactions, categorization, or retail data.

Nice to Have

Experience in government, healthcare, or public services digital transformation projects.
Knowledge of Medicaid or similar benefits programs.
