Silvus Technologies is hiring a Senior System Test and Automation Engineer to collaborate with our R&D teams. You will establish production tests and performance thresholds, and design automated test setups for wireless communication systems in our manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
- Design and test complete solutions using Silvus hardware and software to solve unique technical problems.
- Design and implement logging and log analysis tools to capture system and test infrastructure performance.
- Help define new products and features, and perform product evaluations and field tests.
- Work closely with software development to augment production test systems for new features.
- Perform manufacturing failure troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production failures.
- Test and harden existing features through firmware and hardware changes in realistic applications.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience in embedded firmware development and testing, scripting, embedded Linux, C/C++, and Python; OR 3 years with an advanced degree.
- Demonstrated experience in wireless/networking or an electronics manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience with lab instruments such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen due to U.S. government contracts.
- All employment is contingent upon successful clearance of a background check and drug test.
Nice to Have
- Proven experience with wireless and radio communication systems, RF signal propagation, and digital communication technologies.
- Demonstrated experience with TCP/IP networking.
- Excellent organizational skills, attentiveness to details, and ability to multi-task.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills to interact effectively internally and with customers.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and interact with cross-functional teams.

Benefits & Compensation
- Salary range: $130,000—$180,000 USD
