United Franchise Group is looking for a Mid QA Engineer – Data & ETL Testing. In this full-time, remote role, you will ensure data quality and validate ETL processes, reports, and dashboards as a trusted partner delivering high-value solutions.
What You'll Do
- Ensure data quality and validate ETL processes across the data ecosystem
- Test and validate reports and dashboards built with BI tools
- Provide off-hour support for critical data processes as needed
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand and meet data testing requirements
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 2-7 years of experience in data warehouse testing or development
- Strong understanding of Data Warehousing (DW), ETL, and Data Quality concepts
- Proficiency in SQL, RDBMS, and ETL validation
- Experience validating reports and dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools
- Exceptional attention to detail with a results-driven approach
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter with strong ownership, accountability, and collaboration skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with SSIS and MS SQL Server
- Exposure to Snowflake and DBT environments
- Familiarity with QA automation tools and frameworks
- Understanding of ETL workflows, data warehouse testing procedures, and cloud data ecosystems
- Experience with Insurance data and hybrid (on-prem/cloud) architectures
