U-Haul is looking for a Microsoft Teams Implementation Specialist to lead the end-to-end implementation of Microsoft Teams collaboration and voice solutions for our clients. In this role, you will assess existing unified communications environments and define strategies for migrating to Microsoft Teams.
What You'll Do
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of Microsoft Teams collaboration and voice solutions, including planning, design, configuration, integration, testing, and cutover.
- Assess existing UCC/voice environments and define migration strategies to Teams from platforms like Skype for Business, Cisco, Avaya, or legacy PBX systems.
- Configure and manage Teams Phone System, Direct Routing, Operator Connect, Teams Rooms (MTR), meeting policies, voice routing, and call queues.
- Integrate Teams with PSTN providers, SBCs (such as AudioCodes, Ribbon, Oracle), and on-premises PBXs.
- Configure Microsoft 365 tenant, Azure AD, Conditional Access, SSO, and Directory Synchronization.
- Perform user migrations, number porting, device provisioning, and adoption enablement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve advanced issues related to Teams voice, conferencing, federation, and integrations.
- Provide documentation, training, and knowledge transfer for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Stay updated on the Microsoft roadmap, Teams updates, and best practices for collaboration and voice.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise collaboration/voice technologies with at least 2+ years in Microsoft Teams deployments.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Teams (Collaboration & Phone System).
- Strong knowledge of Direct Routing and Operator Connect.
- Strong knowledge of Teams Rooms (MTR) and device management.
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft 365 admin center and Teams admin center.
- Familiarity with SBCs (AudioCodes, Ribbon, Oracle, Cisco CUBE).
- Understanding of VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP, SRTP, SBC interworking).
- Experience with Azure AD, identity integration, hybrid Exchange, and security compliance policies.
- Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and client-facing communication skills.
