CocuSocial is looking for a Syncreon Consulting Cisco SD-WAN Engineer for a contract role. You will specialize in deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise SD-WAN solutions within Viptela and Fortinet environments, supporting cloud connectivity, and providing critical documentation and team support.
What You'll Do
- Deploy and maintain Cisco Viptela SD-WAN environments using vManage, vSmart, and vBond.
- Configure WAN edge routers, tunnels, VPNs, routing policies, and traffic steering rules.
- Perform site turn-ups, migrations, and ISP circuit integrations (MPLS, DIA, Broadband, LTE).
- Support Fortinet SD-WAN using FortiGate appliances.
- Monitor SD-WAN health, application performance, tunnels, and control connections.
- Troubleshoot issues related to IPSec, BFD, routing, latency, packet loss, jitter, and ISP outages/circuit failovers.
- Perform root cause analysis and support escalations from NOC or Service Desk.
- Participate in change management, maintenance windows, and patch upgrades.
- Support connectivity between branch sites, data centers, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
- Troubleshoot hybrid SD-WAN connectivity issues.
- Maintain accurate network documentation, circuit inventories, and configuration standards.
- Provide knowledge transfer to operations and support teams.
- Support audits and reporting as needed.
What We're Looking For
- 3–7 years of hands-on enterprise network operations experience.
- Strong experience with Cisco Viptela SD-WAN (vManage, vSmart, vBond, Edge Devices).
- Strong experience with BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
- Strong experience with IPSec, VPN, QoS, NAT, and ACLs.
- Strong experience with WAN technologies: MPLS, DIA, Broadband, and LTE/5G.
- CCNA certification.
Nice to Have
- CCNP Enterprise or SD-WAN certification.
- Experience supporting Fortinet SD-WAN using FortiGate appliances.
