What You'll Do
Conduct in-depth linguistic reviews of machine-translated customer service content, focusing on accuracy, tone, and consistency across batches. You'll serve as a second-pass reviewer, verifying that translations meet established quality benchmarks.
Assess and standardize error severity to ensure consistent evaluations across the project. Your judgments will support reliable quality reporting and help maintain alignment with defined linguistic standards.
Identify recurring machine translation issues, such as persistent terminology errors, tone deviations, or structural inaccuracies. You'll analyze patterns to distinguish isolated mistakes from systemic flaws in the translation process.
Deliver clear, high-level feedback that contributes directly to quality summaries and improvement initiatives. Your insights will guide refinements in both automated translation systems and quality evaluation protocols.
Requirements
- Native-level fluency in Swedish as spoken in Finland, with strong command of English for documentation and collaboration
- Proven background in linguistic quality assessment, machine translation evaluation, or localization QA
- Familiarity with standard error taxonomies and quality assurance frameworks used in language technology
- Highly detail-oriented with an analytical approach to identifying and categorizing linguistic issues
- Ability to work autonomously and deliver precise, constructive feedback on translation quality
Benefits
