Supabase is looking for a Support Engineering Manager to build, lead, and scale our first US-based support engineering team. You will play a key role in shaping the future of our global support organization and driving operational excellence in our fast-growing, open-source environment.
What You'll Do
- Build, lead, and scale a support engineering team in the US.

What We're Looking For
- Some experience leading or mentoring a technical team (support, engineering, or similar).
- Strong troubleshooting skills from a background in systems administration, database management, DevOps, or a related field.
- Familiarity with SQL (especially PostgreSQL).
- Comfortable using Linux/Unix operating systems and the command line for basic troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
Nice to Have
- Formal management experience.
- Experience working with GitHub Issues and Discussions.
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue, or Svelte, and some experience with Node.js.
