The Oregon Department of Human Services seeks a Support Analyst (Research Analyst 2) to lead the Census of Fatal Occupational Injuries program for the state. You will gather, edit, analyze, compile, and report statistical data and information, with a primary focus on worker fatalities.
What You'll Do
- Conduct the Census of Fatal Occupational Injuries for the Bureau of Labor Statistics program for the State of Oregon.
- Participate in gathering, editing, analyzing, compiling, and reporting statistical data and other information for DCBS, especially as it relates to worker fatalities.
- Participate in selecting, applying, and interpreting statistical techniques.
- Design computerized models and analyze and present results in narrative and/or graphic form.
What We're Looking For
- A bachelor's degree in any discipline that included six-quarter units in statistics or quantitative analysis methods and procedures
- OR three years of experience as a research assistant comparable to the work of a Research Analyst 1
- OR two years of experience using computer applications to help gather, compile, analyze, and report information and statistical data

- Programming experience, especially SQL, SAS, or R
