CHS Inc. is hiring a Supply & Inventory Manager to provide leadership and strategic direction for our Refined Fuels Automated Fuel Delivery (AFD) program. You will design and implement the supply and inventory management program across the entire CHS refined fuels region, playing a key role in its operational success.
What You'll Do
- Conduct supply and demand planning for all AFD volume across the CHS refined fuels network.
- Manage agreement volumes with affiliates and retail locations.
- Model and forecast demand needs, partnering with the refined fuels supply team for optimum execution of the supply plan.
- Develop and manage bulk plants inventory strategy.
- Work with all locations to maintain inventory and daily position reports.
- Advise the trading team on daily position and inventory risk strategy.
- Manage tank settlement processes.
- Collaborate with refined fuels operations, AFD operations, and account managers on settlement options, metrics, and volume.
- Manage processes for forecasting demand, supply planning, and directing distribution to optimize performance.
- Collaborate with refined fuels supply, economics, GTM operational efficiency, AFD operations, Transportation, and IT teams to determine and implement supply and demand management tools, processes, and technology needs.
What We're Looking For
- High School diploma or GED
- 7+ years of experience in business and/or business operations
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related area
- Demonstrated ability to identify areas for improvement in existing organizations and business processes, then create, develop, establish buy-in for, and implement new solutions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to successfully collaborate and influence without direct authority with individuals at all levels of the organization to enact strategy and operational improvements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to make critical decisions in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Ability to quickly grasp and apply new concepts to existing business applications
