Glanbia Nutritionals Inc. is hiring a Supply & Demand Planner to optimize inventory levels and ensure efficient product flow. You will lead Sales and Operations Review processes to align cross-functional teams and drive business success.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and business strategies.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to gather information for planning.
- Conduct regular analysis of forecast accuracy and adjust strategies as needed.
- Coordinate with US supply sites to ensure material availability.
- Monitor inventory levels and production schedules to meet demand while minimizing excess.
- Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Foster effective communication with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and logistics.
- Provide regular updates on demand and supply trends, issues, and improvement recommendations.
- Utilize statistical modeling and analysis tools to enhance forecasting accuracy.
- Analyze historical sales data and market trends to identify patterns and opportunities.
- Identify areas for process improvement within demand and supply planning.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of experience in supply and demand planning with exposure to leading S&OP cycles.
- Experience in forecasting and measuring forecast accuracy.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Previous experience in a supply chain role supporting multiple stakeholders.
- Basic knowledge of SAP and JDA systems.
- Advanced knowledge in Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
