Meijer Stores LP is looking for a Supply Chain Network Planning Intern for an 11-week summer program in 2026. In this role, you will tackle challenging, real-world projects focused on optimizing product flow and driving network efficiencies across our supply chain. This internship provides a cross-functional, end-to-end experience with exposure to various business areas of our family company.
What You'll Do
- Work on projects focused on planning product flow and driving network efficiencies.
- Optimize product flow through distribution centers.
- Create reporting, such as with Power BI, to predict product inventory levels.
- Analyze delivery frequency to stores for each commodity.
- Conduct cost analysis of vendor supply chain programs.
- Review total Supply Chain costs for additional inventory and its network impact.
- Conduct frozen network review and product flow analysis.
- Optimize KeHe product flow to increase on-shelf availability.
- Improve process for re-slotting inventory through the network.
- Perform comprehensive analysis to optimize GM and Grocery shipping processes.
- Analyze current state product flow of all active c-stop products through the network to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
What We're Looking For
- Progress toward a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Statistics, or Finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Analytics skills and familiarity with data analytics processes and software such as Power BI and SQL.
- Drive for results with a focus on the bottom line.
- Customer focus dedicated to meeting expectations of internal and external customers.
- Relationship skills to create positive working relationships with customers, team members, and leadership.
- Communication skills to convey the right information in writing and verbally.
- Problem-solving curiosity to research and look beyond the obvious to assemble and interpret data.
