Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is hiring a Supply Chain Carbon Emissions Manager to lead our supplier carbon emissions data collection and analysis program. In this role, you will combine technical data management with strategic vendor relationship building to advance JLL’s decarbonization journey.
What You'll Do
- Establish and maintain carbon emissions data collection processes across JLL's supplier network.
- Develop standardized frameworks, work directly with vendors to gather information, and ensure data quality.
- Build automated systems for tracking, validating, and updating supplier carbon footprint data.
- Design and implement innovative engagement strategies to motivate supplier participation in carbon reporting.
- Create compelling business cases for vendor collaboration, develop educational materials, and establish recognition programs.
- Build strong working relationships with key vendor contacts to drive continuous improvement in environmental performance.
- Transform supplier emissions data into meaningful insights for decision-making and strategy.
- Conduct trend analysis, benchmark supplier performance, and identify carbon reduction opportunities across the supply chain.
- Develop executive-level reporting and dashboards that clearly communicate progress.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance supplier engagement approaches through pilots and process improvements.
- Stay current with emerging best practices in supply chain sustainability and carbon accounting.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to integrate carbon considerations into procurement processes.
What We're Looking For
- 6 years of experience in sustainability or environmental management with a focus on supply chain or carbon reduction.
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and carbon accounting frameworks like GHG Protocol.
- Proven track record of building effective relationships with external vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Experience developing and implementing data collection programs, preferably in corporate sustainability or ESG.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical environmental concepts for diverse audiences.
- Collaborative problem-solver able to work effectively across functions and organizations.
- Self-starter with strong initiative and follow-through capabilities.
Nice to Have
- Advanced degree in sustainability, environmental management, or an MBA with a sustainability focus.
- Professional certifications in carbon accounting or sustainability management.
- Experience with supply chain sustainability programs in large corporate environments.
- Familiarity with ESG reporting standards and frameworks.
- Background in commercial real estate or professional services industries.

- Compensation range: $120,000.00 – $170,000.00 USD per year.
