Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Supply Base Management (Senior) to join the newly formed Supplier Recovery Team as a Supplier Recovery Leader. 

This role will focus on Tier 1 Suppliers and the development/execution of integrated Recovery Plans.  The priority and objectives are to drive improved supplier performance and BGS customer past due backlog reduction.  The position will be located in Dallas, TX.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectations

  • Manages and monitors supplier quality, delivery and financial performance

  • Leads the development of mitigations plans to avoid risk and resolve issues impacting customers and programs

  • Develops and implements supplier base plans to support customer, program and commodity strategies

  • Analyzes supplier and business processes and procedures to identify improvement opportunities and incorporate into contracting strategies

  • Acts as primary point of contact for suppliers, customers and programs

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in Supplier Management/Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer, Supplier Program Manager, Supply Chain Management Analyst/Item Manager, or Supply Base Manage

  • 3+ years of experience managing supplier relationships

  • 3+ years of experience applying risk management and mitigation principles

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience developing and managing strong relationships with partners (internal & external)

  • Experience working with suppliers and managing a supply base in a dynamic environment with frequent expedited procurement demands

  • Experience in Supplier Chain / Supply Base or Supplier Management

  • Leading or managing projects

  • Experience and effectively communicating, both verbally and in writing, and collaborating across multi-discipline teams

  • Bachelors’ degree

Summary pay range: $91,000.00 – $129,000.00
