Henry Schein One LLC is seeking a Supervisor, Transportation to oversee the efficient shipment of customer orders and manage key functions within the department. This role is responsible for supervising team members, tracking productivity and budgets, and identifying operational improvements.
What You'll Do
- Ensure the shipment of customer orders in a timely and efficient manner.
- Supervise one or more functions within the Transportation department.
- Hire new team members, conduct performance reviews, recommend wage increases, monitor attendance, and handle early stages of conflict resolution.
- Track daily, weekly, and monthly hour usage and work completion levels to meet or exceed established budgets.
- Research, identify, and correct issues that cause inefficiencies in productivity and accuracy.
- Work with staff to complete departmental workload as necessary.
- Monitor and troubleshoot conveyors to maintain consistent workflow.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.
- Maintain a complete understanding of all functions, computer screens, and reporting.
- Maintain awareness of how the department impacts internal and external customers and the overall operation.
What We're Looking For
- Typically 4 or more years of related support experience.
- Typically 3 or more years of management experience.
- Good management skills and ability to motivate teams.
- Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to resolve disputes effectively.
- Good presentation and public speaking skills.
- Good decision making, analysis and problem solving skills with ability to multi-task.
- Ability to learn applicable computer systems and other business required competencies.
- Understand financial information that impacts department.
- Ability to plan and coordinate successful projects.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team(s).
Nice to Have
- Hazmat, DOT, International shipping experience.
- Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline.
Team & Environment
Supervises one or more functions within the Transportation department.

This is an onsite position.
