UMass Memorial Health is hiring a Supervisor of Nursing Operations for its Advanced Therapeutics (ATRx) program. In this remote leadership role, you will provide day-to-day clinical oversight and operational support to ensure efficient, compliant, and high-quality patient care. You'll function as a key liaison between clinical teams, ancillary staff, pharmacy operations, and referring providers.
What You'll Do
- Oversee daily operations across ATRx service lines, ensuring timely patient scheduling, nursing triage, documentation, and follow-up.
- Provide clinical triage oversight, ensuring timely assessment, prioritization, and escalation of patient concerns.
- Identify and help resolve operational gaps affecting patient access, throughput, and quality of care.
- Monitor Epic workqueues, Cadence metrics, and Cisco metrics, and escalate barriers as needed.
- Analyze and report triage performance data and call volume metrics.
- Address operational and technical issues in real time to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Concierge outside referrals and ensure seamless care coordination.
- Lead weekly meetings with direct reports to share updates, address concerns, and align on priorities.
- Assure adequate staffing, including preparing and maintaining staff schedules and assignments.
- Serve as the point person for staffing gaps and provide coverage as needed.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and support to staff to promote effective teamwork and accountability.
- Supervise orientation and training for new staff and certify completion of required specialized training.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards set by agencies such as Joint Commission, DPH, and DEA.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and incorporate quality improvement principles.
- Act as a liaison between the Patient Access Center (PAC) and the Clinic.
- Direct and supervise assigned personnel including performance evaluations, scheduling, orientation, and training.
- Develop and recommend budgets for the areas managed and manage activities to meet financial goals.
- Ensure adequate equipment and supplies for the department.
- Develop and maintain established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
- 3 to 5 years of clinical experience in ambulatory, specialty, or chronic disease management settings.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in an ambulatory practice.
- Sound knowledge of current general nursing theories and techniques.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Epic (Cadence, Ambulatory, InBasket workflows).
- Familiarity with quality improvement methodologies.

You will report to the Operations Manager and Clinical Manager while providing leadership to your direct reports.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation range: $83,116.80 - $149,593.60
- A signing bonus may be available; a member of the Recruitment Team will confirm eligibility during the interview process.
