Mass General Brigham, through The McLean Hospital Corporation, is seeking a Supervisor I, Security (Overnight Mon to Fri). You will assist with the day-to-day site operation, supervise personnel, and ensure appropriate incident response and documentation. This role contributes to groundbreaking medical discoveries and exceptional care by supporting a secure environment for patient care, research, teaching, and community service.

What You'll Do

• Manage the day-to-day operation of the site and shift, assuming charge responsibilities in the shift manager's absence.
• Take a lead role in responding to emergencies or major occurrences requiring departmental intervention.
• Assume all operational duties of a security officer when appropriate.
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, and orienting new operational staff.
• Evaluate staff capability, performance, efficiency, and appearance routinely, completing formal annual performance evaluations.
• Assess and participate in the training needs of operational staff.
• Enforce hospital security regulations and ensure criminal violations and security problems are investigated and reported appropriately.
• Conduct security surveys, analyses, and ALERT programs to determine institutional vulnerability and communicate risk reduction recommendations.
• Participate in strategic planning, committee representation, budget preparation, and policy enforcement.

What We're Looking For

• 5-7 years of experience working in security or police training.
• 2-3 years of supervisory experience.
• A valid personal driver's license.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice.
• Class D Passenger Vehicle Driver's License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Supervisory Certification (CHSS) from IAHSS.
• Personal Drivers License for New Hampshire.
• MGH Security RMV Check/Registry of Motor Vehicles Driving Report.

Work Mode

This is an onsite position located at 52 Oak Street.
