About the Role
Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dedicated staffing team, ensuring that all staffing needs are met and that the team is performing at a high level. This includes managing the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of staff, as well as coordinating with other departments to ensure that staffing needs are met.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team of recruiters and staffing coordinators.
- Develop and implement staffing strategies to meet business needs.
- Oversee the recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to employment.
- Manage the onboarding and training of new hires.
- Monitor and analyze staffing metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand staffing needs and develop solutions.
- Manage the performance of the staffing team, including setting goals and conducting performance reviews.
- Develop and implement retention strategies to reduce turnover.
- Manage the budget for the staffing department, including tracking expenses and forecasting future needs.
- Ensure that all staffing activities are aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Develop and implement diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the staffing process.
- Manage the scheduling and deployment of staff to ensure optimal coverage and efficiency.
- Provide guidance and support to the staffing team, including coaching and mentoring.
- Ensure that all staffing activities are conducted in a fair and ethical manner.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the candidate experience.
- Manage the relationship with external vendors and suppliers.
- Ensure that all staffing activities are conducted in a timely and efficient manner.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency of the staffing process.
- Manage the implementation of new technologies and tools to support the staffing process.
- Ensure that all staffing activities are conducted in a cost-effective manner.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of hires.
