Jon Ossoff for Senate is hiring Summer 2026 Fellows to support the re-election campaign across six departments: political, finance, communications, digital, research, and mobilization. This is a paid 10-week fellowship for current or recent students, based in Georgia or Washington DC, with opportunities for hybrid or remote work depending on the department.
What You'll Do
- Support event logistics by helping track participation and offer in-person support
- Track and execute post-engagement follow-up efforts to ensure consistent communication
- Monitor and log incoming political requests, invitations, and community outreach efforts
- Conduct research to inform outreach strategies and identify new validators and partners
- Maintain tracking documents and databases to ensure accurate and consistent records
- Help with the development and execution of fundraising events
- Draft and send invitations for fundraising events
- Create invitation universes for fundraising events
- Manage internal tracking for fundraising events
- Perform post-event data entry for fundraising events
- Develop call time preparation program corresponding with assigned region
- Expand donor base via prospecting within region
- Execute finance department’s thank-you letter program
- Assist finance and campaign staff with additional duties as needed
- Assist with daily communications operations and administrative tasks as needed
- Monitor local TV coverage and news clips
- Maintain and update tracking materials, press lists, and inquiries
- Contact news stations regarding press events
- Take on additional duties and tasks as assigned and as the needs of the Communications Department evolve
- Assist with daily digital operations and administrative tasks as needed
- Assist in writing first drafts of email, SMS, and ads copy
- Assist in email and SMS production
- Create research memos to help inform digital strategy and initiatives
- Help track performance of digital content on social media and elsewhere
- Help manage responses to digital fundraising outreach
- Learn about social media, working with partners, digital data, content creators, and digital program creation
- Take on additional tasks as assigned and as needed
- Contribute to early morning daily clips, social media review, and media monitoring of Republican targets
- Transcribe and summarize media appearances and coverage relevant to the race
- Assist in long-term research projects and production of research documents
- Provide administrative support to the research department and take on additional tasks as needed
- Provide assistance to train volunteers on relational organizing tools
- Travel to and table at in-person events in the Atlanta area to recruit Georgians to build the organizing program
- Assist the department in general administrative tasks including scheduling, supply management, and record keeping
- Provide supplemental support to Data department as needed
What We're Looking For
- Applicants must be based in Georgia or Washington DC
- Fellows will be expected to work approximately 35 hours per week
- Fellows must be available for the full 10-week program from Monday, June 8 to Friday, August 14, 2026
Nice to Have
- Current undergraduate student or recent graduate (college standing not required)
- Prior campaign experience is preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Strong understanding of Google services, including Sheets, Drive, Docs, and Calendar
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Interest in Georgia politics, political campaigns, or public service
- Ability to work collaboratively and take direction well
- Familiarity with NGP, VoteBuilder, or other campaign tools is a huge plus
- Georgia ties strongly preferred
