Lincoln Electric is looking for a Sub Assembly Operator to join our team in Toronto. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly and testing of Maverick panels, ensuring all quality and safety standards are met while accurately completing production documentation.
What You'll Do
- Report to the Production Supervisor and communicate all matters pertaining to the Maverick Panels cell.
- Ensure required materials and tools are available to carry out the work.
- Assemble Maverick panels, make all electrical connections, and test for grounding.
- Place finished panels on the conveyor or cart for the next station.
- Interpret Engineering drawings to program and produce quality parts.
- Follow first-off procedures and complete all documentation as required.
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections, involving Quality Assurance Inspectors for first-piece checks when needed.
- Ensure safety, product quality, productivity standards, and cost-efficiency objectives are met.
- Obtain, accurately complete, and submit production tickets (travelers) at the start and end of each shift.
- Abide by and actively support Lincoln Electric’s Environmental Health & Safety policies, practices, and procedures.
What We're Looking For
- A Grade 12 diploma.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Completion of relevant trade courses.
- Computer literacy.
- More than 6 months but less than 9 months of related experience.
Team & Environment
You will report directly to the Production Supervisor within the Machine Division.
Work Mode
This is an onsite position based at our Toronto facility located at 179 Wicksteed.
