Follett Higher Education is looking for a Student Marketing Director to spearhead local marketing tactics on campus. You will lead in-store and social media efforts to drive traffic, awareness, and sales for campus stores, acting as a key connection point between the store and the campus community.
What You'll Do
- Adapt and execute social media strategies to enhance brand awareness and drive traffic.
- Create regular, original content for social media, including copy, video, live streams, and photography.
- Grow social media audiences using promotions, contests, and partnerships.
- Analyze performance metrics weekly to refine content for optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with other Student Marketing Directors, influencers, and administrators to establish connections and drive store traffic.
- Respond to customer service inquiries on social media and the website.
- Develop and execute a local marketing calendar that includes key campus events and non-event initiatives.
- Track marketing tactics and execution for campaigns, store events, and local initiatives.
- Act as the liaison between the store and the in-house creative team for marketing collateral.
- Build relationships with school contacts in marketing, admissions, alumni, and athletics to drive commissionable sales.
- Generate and activate in-store events like NIL opportunities and scavenger hunts to increase foot traffic.
- Support national marketing initiatives at the store level.
- Maintain in-store signage, online images, and ensure EDU compliance.
