Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Strike and Targeting Technical Writer to help implement emergent Intelligence Community (IC) training capabilities. You will build critical training materials for advanced learners and collaborate with military, civilian, and operational stakeholders to embed training initiatives across institutional, operational, and self-development domains.
What You'll Do
- Assist with training development functions and analysis of Department of Defense (DoD) and Joint training publications to identify potential revisions needed to legacy curriculum material.
- Work with key stakeholders to ensure training initiatives are embedded across institutional, operational, and self-development domains.
- Execute the implementation of training strategies and learning concepts.
- Collaborate with military and civilian stakeholders, technical experts, and operational colleagues.
- Build critical training materials for advanced learners motivated to grow their skills.
- Be part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team producing sophisticated, technical, hands-on training solutions to meet mission and time-critical client needs.
- Utilize operational expertise to foster a team environment of learning, progress, and excellence to help build the next generation of IC Strike and Targeting experts.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in Intelligence Strike or Targeting support.
- 3+ years of experience in curriculum development, including planning, coordinating, implementing, revising, converting, and maintaining courseware, including writing knowledge and performance tests.
- 3+ years of experience developing performance-based technical training using Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office applications.
- 1+ years of experience on an afloat tour as an Intelligence Specialist (IS) for the Navy or Information Warfare Officer Designator.
- Experience with Distributed Common Ground System-Navy (DCGS-N).
- Experience using Content Planning Module (CPM), Learning Object Module (LOM), MOODLE, or DOD LMS to develop, update, manage, and integrate training content.
- Knowledge of DoD and Navy guidance documents used in the development of task-based curriculum.
- Knowledge of interpersonal communications with civilian and military personnel, including verbal briefings or presentations, listening techniques, and developing written material such as technical reports documenting research and analysis performed.
- TS/SCI clearance.
- HS diploma or GED.
