Zalaris was looking for a Strategic Key Account Manager

At Zalaris, we are shaping the future of HR & Payroll services across Europe. We are looking for a Strategic Key Account Manager to act as a trusted partner and advisor for HR leaders in Denmark, taking full accountability for the customer journey from contract handover through to renewal and expansion.

What You'll Do

  • Own key customer relationships, strategic account plans, and P&Ls.
  • Drive renewals, upsell, cross-sale, and expansion into new markets and services.
  • Facilitate tactical and strategic governance meetings, ensuring clarity and execution.
  • Act as the single point of contact for strategic customers, advising, challenging, and inspiring improvement.
  • Identify root causes and improvement opportunities to build business cases that create measurable value.
  • Lead opportunity development and manage the commercial pipeline.
  • Champion customer success internally and navigate the matrix organization to deliver results.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a strategic account manager in complex, global environments.
  • A strong commercial mindset with demonstrated success in upsell, renewals, and business development.
  • Understanding of HRM, including Payroll, Time & Attendance, Workforce Management, Travel & Expense, and HCM platforms such as Workday, SuccessFactors, or Oracle.
  • Experience with Managed Services or Outsourcing models.
  • Ability to engage confidently with senior HR stakeholders at the CHRO level.
  • Analytical and advisory skills to build business cases and challenge customer thinking.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills; comfortable leading governance forums.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial attitude and strong accountability for customer success.
  • Located in Denmark.
  • Fluent in both English and Danish.
  • Internationally comfortable operating across diverse cultures.

Nice to Have

  • A background from top-tier management consulting.
  • Strong proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, CRM systems, Power BI, and AI tools.
