Clarivate is seeking a Strategic Account Manager (R&D) to secure, build, and develop partnerships with our most important global clients in key markets. You will focus on expanding existing relationships, driving growth within customer organizations, and upselling our portfolio of solutions to core persona groups within the Life Sciences & Healthcare segment.
What You'll Do
- Build and develop long-term relationships with Senior Leaders to elevate our partnership.
- Manage existing relationships to drive growth.
- Upsell and cross-sell new services and solutions to new and existing networks.
- Lead key Regional or multi-country strategic opportunities critical to achieving account plans and regional financial goals.
- Conduct whitespace analysis for assigned Accounts, owning the regional account strategy working in conjunction with the Global Account Lead.
- Partner with Customer Experience, Solution Consulting and Marketing teams to optimize the customer journey.
- Interface with all key buying points and advocates including Senior management, users of the platforms, department/franchise heads, and brand teams.
- Generate proposals, plan customer meetings, and form a Clarivate team best suited to meet the customer need.
- Develop and maintain a high level of customer, industry and product knowledge.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 7 years of sales experience with a minimum of 5 years selling into large Pharmaceutical customers.
- Experience selling complex and bespoke Data, Insights and/or Consulting solutions.
Nice to Have
- Experience orchestrating multi-dimensional client relationships in a matrix environment.
Team & Environment
You will manage Clarivate's largest global customers across the Life Sciences & Healthcare segment business, handling multiple geographies.

- Compensation: $129,000 - $162,000 USD per year base salary plus annual on-target commission plan.
Work Mode
This is a remote position. Candidates should be located on the US East coast and operate within the EST time zone.
