Manulife Financial Corporation is seeking a Bilingual Investment Claims Adjudicator to join our team. You will provide excellent service to clients across Canada by reviewing and processing claims in accordance with established procedures and regulations. This role demands empathy, professionalism, and strong organizational skills to handle claims accurately, often while supporting clients through emotional situations.
What You'll Do
- Consistently provide exceptional service to internal and external customers by demonstrating the highest level of professionalism in all interactions.
- Review claims and ensure each file is handled in accordance with procedures, product guidelines, Privacy legislation, Pension legislation, Anti-Money Laundering and Canadian Tax rules and regulations.
- Document the claim file to ensure an accurate record of events.
- Obtain complete file information to ensure accuracy.
- Accurately update systems to ensure the precision of reserve calculations.
What We're Looking For
- Bilingual fluency in French and English is required. You will communicate in both languages to support clients from various jurisdictions outside of Quebec.
- Basic mathematical skills are required.
- A high level of comfort navigating calls with grieving or emotional clients.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with strong ability to communicate proficiently both verbally and in writing, to interact successfully with internal and external customers, claimants, financial advisors, lawyers, and employees.

- Working knowledge of processing and imaging systems.
- Knowledge of Investment Products.
- Working knowledge of government legislation, the Insurance Act, and the Quebec Civil Code.
- Basic knowledge of administrative systems like Mainframes, AWD, or iFAST.
- Experience in developing professional letters.
