Lead and grow a retail banking location in Arlington, MA, with accountability for customer experience, team leadership, and financial results. This role oversees daily operations, staff development, and business growth while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive performance in deposits, lending, fees, and expense management to support profitability and long-term growth
- Coach and develop team members to deliver consistent, high-quality service and advice to customers
- Build strong client relationships and refer customers to appropriate specialists to meet their financial needs
- Manage hiring, performance evaluations, scheduling, and development plans for store colleagues
- Handle customer escalations and lead resolution efforts using established problem-solving frameworks
- Originate loan applications, oversee lending conditions, and support loan closings
- Ensure compliance with operational, security, and risk management standards
- Represent the bank in local business and community initiatives to strengthen brand presence
- Develop store-level strategies to meet performance targets and enhance customer engagement
- Mentor emerging leaders and support peer development across the region
Qualifications
Candidates should hold an undergraduate degree or equivalent experience and bring at least five years of leadership in retail, customer service, or financial services. Proven success in business development, team coaching, and consumer/small business lending is essential. Must have strong financial acumen, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Active NMLS registration is required; a Notary License is preferred.

Compensation & Development
