Penn State's Eberly College of Sciences is hiring a Stewardship Administrative Assistant to perform an integral role within the fundraising and alumni relations operations. You will report to the Director of Stewardship and collaborate closely with the development team.
What You'll Do
- Assist with managing the gift acknowledgement process, recording gifts, and managing the student scholarship process to inform benefactors.
- Prepare stewardship reports for traveling team members and department heads.
- Articulate Penn State's needs, ambitions, and values through formal communications.
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and provide general support to the development and alumni relations team.
- Support event logistics including venue contracts, catering, payment processing, and tracking invitations and registrations.
What We're Looking For
- A General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or High School diploma.
- 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong computer skills, specifically with Excel, Microsoft 365, Teams, and Zoom.
- Willingness to learn Penn State-specific systems: CRM (AWA), endowment management (eSteward), finance (SIMBA), and SAP Concur.
- Exemplary interpersonal, written, and communication skills.
- The ability to create and maintain an inclusive and respectful environment for all students and colleagues.
- Strong attention to detail along with the ability to multi-task several priorities for several people.
- A commitment to delivering excellent service with a high level of professionalism, including maintaining confidentiality.
- A proven ability to self-motivate and work both independently and as part of a team.

Team & Environment
You will report to the Director of Stewardship and work closely with the associate director of stewardship and the development and alumni relations team in the college, as well as other partners.

- Compensation range: $38,300.00 - $55,500.00
