Cove, a digital tax consultancy for startups and growth companies, is looking for a Steuerberater:in (m/w/d) to join our team. In this 100% remote role, you will independently manage clients across all tax-related concerns and actively participate in shaping our digital processes.

What You'll Do

Autonomously manage exciting client mandates (startups, SMEs, scale-ups) in all tax matters.
Prepare and review annual financial statements and tax returns.
Provide ongoing tax advice and support clients with complex issues, such as funding rounds, employee participation, and international business.
Collaborate closely with our accounting team and support bookkeeping, payroll, and VAT processes.
Co-design and review digital processes, automation solutions, and tools.
Act as the point of contact for tax authorities and external tax audits.

What We're Looking For

Certified tax advisor with professional experience in a tax firm.
Solid knowledge of tax law as well as the preparation and auditing of annual financial statements.
Experience in advising corporations and partnerships.
Enjoyment of working with digital tools and automation solutions.
Entrepreneurial mindset, strong communication skills, and an independent way of working.

Nice to Have

Experience with startups, scale-ups, or international corporate structures.
