Jobgether is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to drive the technical direction of our leading SaaS platform. You'll deliver scalable and reliable solutions impacting millions of users by designing and building large-scale systems for detecting, remediating, and preventing accessibility issues. This role blends hands-on development with architectural leadership, guiding technical decisions and mentoring engineers.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design and development of scalable software systems across multiple technology stacks.
- Build and maintain web-scale solutions balancing immediate needs with long-term sustainability.
- Collaborate with product, design, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers, promoting code quality, standards, and engineering best practices.
- Drive operational excellence through observability, monitoring, and DevOps practices.
- Own problem-solving across technology layers, ensuring solutions are secure, performant, and reliable.
- Influence the technical roadmap and make architectural decisions that shape platform growth.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience in complex, large-scale systems.
- Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, HTML, CSS, and DOM manipulation.
- Experience with React or other MVVM frameworks, relational and NoSQL databases.
- Proficiency with API design, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms.
- Experience in building, operating, and maintaining large-scale SaaS products.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and software observability.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills across technical and product teams.
