Jobgether is looking for a Senior Software Engineer I to play a critical role in building, maintaining, and improving high-quality software products used by thousands of customers. You'll collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and product leaders to deliver innovative solutions.
What You'll Do
- Build new features and enhance existing functionality with attention to performance and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and product management to deliver impactful solutions.
- Participate in defining application architecture and shaping best practices for development.
- Mentor junior engineers, providing constructive feedback and sharing knowledge to elevate the team’s capabilities.
- Contribute to incident response processes and improve system reliability.
- Focus on delivering value to customers through iterative development and thoughtful product improvements.
- Actively participate in a remote-first, collaborative engineering culture.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience implementing, shipping, and maintaining production-grade software.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and frontend frameworks such as React, with familiarity in CSS/S(CSS).
- Backend experience with Node.js, Postgres, and containerization tools such as Docker.
- Solid understanding of Git/GitHub workflows and collaborative software development practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- AWS services (S3, SNS, SQS).
- Event-driven architectures.
- Real-time collaboration frameworks (WebSockets, CRDTs).
- Experience with ML/LLMs/OpenAI.
- Accessibility best practices.
